Imagined ages ago and officially brought to life in October 2023. Dr. Haus's Unsolicited Life Advice first debuted as a university professor teaching Pathophysiology decided her students would benefit from not doing life the way she did life.
🤓
Dr. Haus's Unsolicited Life Advice actualized in 2019 as 10 pieces of advice none of her students asked for or wanted, but alas, were required to endure. This cruel and unusual punishment was forced upon them as Dr. Haus was convinced they needed to know what she learned the hard way or, more accurately, the things many a kind soul had once told her but she was too damn stubborn to listen to them, so she had to learn them the way she learns everything - the hard way.
🙅
Don't be Dr. Haus.
🙅
The original ten pieces of Dr. Haus's Unsolicited Life Advice:
1. You do you
2. Negative commentators will always negatively commentate
3. Take care of your mental health
4. Take care of your physical health
5. Don’t compare yourself to others
6. If you feel a certain way, others do too (even if they won’t admit it)
7. Imposters syndrome is a real thing
8. Don’t let anyone tell you what you can/can’t do
9. You are more than the grades you receive (grades mean nothing)
10. Don’t be afraid to follow your dreams/make a change
🐈⬛
Trust me - this list has gotten MUCH longer since its inception in 2019. For those of you that are dreamers, lifelong learners, or are simply gifted with a curious mind, come along on this journey of navigating the scary place that is Dr. Haus's Aquarian mind.
♒
From education to adventures to mentorship to complete randomness, this ride will allow each of us to try, fail, and most importantly, grow.
