Last Concert of 2023 Musings

Concerts

I love concerts.  The feeling of being in a crowded space but experiencing the music as an individual is empowering, invigorating, and peaceful.  There is a flow that overcomes me when I close my eyes and sway with the music.  It makes me rethink my mindset, reset my mindset, and reinvent my mindset.  This is my favorite part of a concert.  I attended what is likely my last concert of 2023 and all I could think was how lucky I am to be seeing Reneé Rapp's finale concert for her 2023 tour.

🎼

Concerts always ground me and remind me how lucky I am and allow me feel at one with the world.  This year I was lucky to see so many concerts:  Hayley Kiyoko, Fletcher, Eric Church, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, Pentatonix, and Reneé Rapp.  Wow, just wow...

🎶

This concert season I was able to see all different types of artists and music and so many queer artists.  Queer concerts have a feeling that cannot be matched.  The openness, acceptance, and overall vibe of these types of live music events cannot be overstated.  I am running on a high from Reneé's show tonight and am so thankful to have had this experience at this point in my 2023.

My recommendation, regardless of your identity, attend a queer event.  You won't be disappointed.
